Inaugural event will see innovators share tips

More than 30 innovators will showcase their wares and pitch to investors at the Venturefest South event.

The event is at Winchester Guildhall, The Broadway, on Thursday from 9am until 4.30pm.

Venturefest South aims to grow business in the region through introduction to those with experience, with funding or with connections, to local start-up talent.

Among the exhibitors will be Morgan Innovation & Technology, which has created a specially-designed glove that gives multiple sensations to the limb and Turbulent Designs, which has developed ultra-high detail simulated training for the aviation, marine and military sectors.

Eighteen start-ups will also be pitching formally for investment, while a series of ‘open mic’ pitches will see fresh, early-stage business ideas presented to a panel of judges for feedback.
