GHS Mechanical Electrical Engineering has been short-listed in three categories at the H&V (Heating and Ventilation) Awards 2017.

The company has been in business for the past 20 years and it developed a new product using smart technology called Solved Smart Monitoring, which launched at the end of 2016.

The company is short-listed for Smart Installer of the Year, Service and Maintenance Initiative of the year and HVAC Initiative of the Year.

Owner Marc Smith said: ‘The monitor and alert system identifies when something is not quite right, or a callout may be required.

‘We can then contact the client to alert them to check the system before it creates disruption, averting unnecessary expense of a callout if the problem can be solved over the telephone.

‘It was a bit of a last-minute decision to enter the awards as we had been so focused on launching the new product.

‘I am utterly delighted that we have reached the finals in all three categories.’

The winners will be announced at Grosvenor Hotel London, on April 20, in front of more than 1,100 guests.
