The 49-year-old said: '˜Every day is hectic and there is always something to focus on so it channels my mind.

'˜There is so many things the locals want to bring back that the previous owners stopped doing like a bonus ball bet on the lottery and darts and pool teams so I will be finding out next week how to sign up to a league so we can get that going again.'

Lorraine launched a gin selection for the reopening and has plans for a new menu.

She said: '˜I want to serve food  but due to the previous owners getting a zero rating I can't at the moment so I have invited Environmental Health to come round in a couple of weeks so they can tell me exactly what I need to do and then I can get a kitchen up and running.'
