Lovedean Post Office to re-open with a revamp

A Post Office in Lovedean is set to be re-opened after having a revamp.

The business based in Frogmore Lane, Waterlooville will be open to the public from September 29 at 1pm with a new look and new opening hours.

The previous branch closed down in November 2013 and left some locals without an easily accessible alternative.

The business listened to a public consultation which received 15 individual responses from customers. Each response called for the store to be reopened.

The Waterlooville residents now seem happy to have the facility back on their doorstep.

The new shop will be open from Monday through to Sunday, 105 hours a week.

The branch features a modern, open-plan floor and till space alongside it’s retail counter. The Lovedean addition is one of 11,500 sites and is part of the biggest retail network in the UK with more branches than all the banks and building societies combined.

It is estimated that 99.7 percent of the population lives within 3 miles of a Post Office and now the people of Lovedean are even closer.
