Mains burst leaves 100 Havant homes without water

Residents have been left with no running water after a pipe burst.

Portsmouth Water is carrying out emergency repair works in Bedhampton Road, in Havant, after being alerted to the incident at midday.

Engineers are currently excavating the site and expect to be able to restore domestic water supplies within four hours.

A spokesperson for Portsmouth Water said about 100 homes are facing outages or low pressure after the burst.

The firm has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
