Store manager Sophie Thomas said she was excited about celebrating the opening of the new store with shoppers and staff.

‘We’re thrilled to be opening our doors at Ocean Retail Park soon, we can’t wait to show customers our foodhall,’ Sophie said. ‘We’ve been part of the local community here in Portsmouth for over 100 years and are looking forward to this next exciting chapter with the city.

‘We want to make every moment special for our customers and with our café they will now have the perfect spot for a relaxing drink and bite to eat whilst shopping with us. We hope many of them will be able to join us on the opening day, when we’ll be giving away some Easter themed treats and hosting family activities in store.’
