Meet the new owner of Lee-on-the-Solent chippy

A BUDDING restaurant owner has had a frying start as the new boss of a fish and chip shop.

Jun Liu is now the proud owner ofÂ Lee-On-Solent Fish andÂ Chippy on Lee-on-the-Solent's seafront.

The restaurant has been a big part of the local community for more than 20 years, with Mr Liu and his family now managing and running it.

The takeover hasÂ created one full-time job and secured the roles of the five employees who already worked at the takeaway.

Jun Liu bought the chippy with a six-figure finance package from HSBC.

He said:Â It has always been a dream of mine to own my own hospitality business and HSBC UK has enabled me to do this.

'˜This has been an excellent opportunity to grow my business portfolio and my relationship manager at HSBC UK, Rico Lee, made the process incredibly smooth.'
