Nestle recalling more yogurts over 'pieces of rubber' fears

A FOOD giant has announced that it is expanding its recall for one of its products over fears it may contain small piece of rubber.

Nestle issued the urgent recall for packs of its Ski yogurt earlier this week and have now expanded the number of affected batches.

Customers who have purchased the product are being urged to ‘not eat it’ but instead return them for a full refund.

The recall affects the Nestle’s Ski yogurt variety pack with fruit pieces with the use by dates of 21 February 2020, 22 February 2020, 28 February 2020, 29 February 2020, 6 March 2020, 7 March 2020, 13 March 2020.

Nestle say that it has taken the precautionary step of voluntary recalling the product ‘because it may contain small pieces of black rubber due to an isolated incident in their fruit supplier manufacturing process’.

Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.

These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.

Nestle advises that anyone who has bought the yogurts should return the top of the outer carboard sleeve or a pot lid printed with any of these use-by dates, with your full name and address, for a full refund.
