She suffers with an auto-immune disease and was told by doctors that she would need her intestine removed in order to recover.

After her condition improved with just medication, Becky decided that instead of returning to her previous job, she would embark on a wellbeing journey and started working at her husband’s travel firm part-time while she took up yoga and running and began to plan her new business venture.

She said: ‘I didn’t want to return to the corporate world. For me I needed to take a step back and look at what I enjoy.’

Once open, the shop will specialise in all things that help improve peoples’ relaxation and mental wellness.

It will sell wellness packages that can be tailor-made depending on who and what it is for, which can be made up of tea, bath products, candles, beauty products, supplements, books and artwork.

Becky said: ‘I thought about what I liked doing and what made me happy and thought “how can I provide that for other people?” You can get self-care packages online but I wanted to offer it face-to-face in real life.’

She wanted to keep the environment in mind within the shop, so will offer several vegan, cruelty and plastic-free products, such as natural makeup and biodegradable yoga mats.

She spent time working voluntarily at a health food store in the Midlands to gain experience in the industry to ensure she was fully informed and educated to offer her expertise to others.

She has a five-year lease on the shop.
