Online trader site success

The Portsmouth local began his venture eight months ago when he spotted a gap in the market for advertising independent and local businesses.

Kevin set up his page on Instagram to show Portsmouth-based companies the benefits of social marketing and to increase exposure of some of the region’s hidden gems. The page provides a public platform for companies to advertise their products and services.

Kevin has been asked to meet with store managers in the Commercial Road area to discuss how the city can better promote their stores.

Kevin said: ‘I’ve had a brilliant response from the local community. Their companies are now being seen by a much larger audience.’
