Pensioner, 101, buys new wheels
The 101-year-old, from Lee-on-the-Solent has recently quit driving – and has swapped to a mobility scooter instead.
Staff at Solent Mobility Centre, in Lee–on-the-Solent, helped him to select his new wheels.

Hide AdSales assistant Lynn Nunn said: ‘He was so bright and chatty I was surprised when he said his age and thought he was much younger.
‘It was a pleasure to help select the right model of scooter and help him keep his independence.’
Solent Mobility has worked with the Gosport Older Persons Forum to set up a training scheme to help people improve their scooter driving skills.
