Pet store starts campaign

A PET store chain has launched a national fundraising campaign in conjunction with the charity Support Adoption For Pets.

Pets at Home stores across the country, including those at Portsmouth, Havant and Park Gate, are hoping to raise £500,000 for pet rescues across the UK.

The campaign runs until August 9 and is inviting people to get involved by heading to Pets at Home stores to join in with activities, including a national raffle to win a Mini One car and £2,000 worth of holiday vouchers.

Amy Wilson, from Support Adoption For Pets, said: ‘These fundraising drives are vital to help keep animal sanctuaries across the UK fully functioning. Over the last 10 years we’ve given away over £15m, helping 900 animal rehoming and welfare organisations.’
