Sir Ben Ainslie’s victory over the course of the two race days was a joy to behold for many spectators as they roared his team Land Rover BAR on to victory.

Hide AdRon Sawford came down to the seafront with his wife, Jackie, from Northamptonshire to enjoy the action.
He said: ‘Ben has done us proud.
‘We’ve had an absolutely fantastic four days here in Portsmouth and we’d definitely say that this year was much better than last year’s action.
‘Not just in regards to the sailing, but the crowds, the atmosphere, everything.’
Jackie added: ‘It gets better every time we come here.’
Rolly Bainbridge, from Dover said: ‘It’s been tremendous fun. The atmosphere has been electric all weekend.

‘It has been a real weekend to remember.’
Keith Lovett, from Poole added: ‘What a stunning couple of days sailing.
‘I’ve been sailing for more than 30 years and all I say is that this is some of the best racing that I’ve ever seen. A real feast for the eyes.’
