The site will have 56 homes for sale and 24 affordable properties available for rent.

Thousands of new homes and jobs could be created over the next decade on different pockets of land around Tipner as part of the city’s wider regeneration.

Andrea Smith, director of development and new Business at Radian, said: ‘Being a part of Portsmouth’s major regeneration programme and providing the first homes for the new gateway into the city is an exciting moment for us.

‘Our award-winning design and sustainability credentials will be very much at the forefront of this development, leading the way for the long term future of the project.

‘Radian has had a long association with Portsmouth, working alongside the local community for many years.’
