Portsmouth building merchants signs new Pompey sponsorship deal

The timber and building firm will continue to sponsor the club for a further two years, adding to three seasons of support.

Covers' logo will appear on Pompey's kit and the perimeter boards at Fratton Park.

Anna Mitchell, commercial director for the club, said: '˜Covers has been a loyal supporter and partner of Portsmouth Football Club for many years so we are absolutely delighted to continue our relationship with them and further their sponsorship with the team for the next two seasons.'

Steve Weston, sales director at Covers, said they were excited for the season ahead.

'˜We are proud to sponsor Portsmouth FC and actively support them at matches,' he said.

'˜We are looking forward to the forthcoming season with great excitement and wish the whole team the very best of luck.'

This season, the University of Portsmouth became Pompey's main shirt sponsor in a deal lasting three seasons.
