Havant man launches Linktwos networking app to connect people across industries
The app will launch on the Apple and Android app stores this week
A Portsmouth man has developed a networking app to promote connection across many different industries.
Tom Hartley-Mills from Havant developed the new app Linktwos with his business partner Dan Price while they were both in their final year of studies at the University of Exeter.
“We had tried to develop a few different ideas, but all of them were to do with connecting people,” he said.
“Three years ago I started my own music events company while I was in university, and it was quite hard to find the right person when you needed them.
“The app was born out of frustration with other networking options. I wanted to make a platform to help match people and make connections.”

The app provides an AI chatbot for users to input what type of connection they want to make, and the app’s algorithm will connect users who best match each other’s needs.
“If it can’t find someone to match you with, it will keep searching every day until that perfect person joins the platform,” said Mr Harvey-Mills.
The app will also provide easier networking at events, allowing attendees to connect before and after the event to allow.
Linktwos will launch on the Apple and Android app stores this week, and has launched a desktop application today.
