Portsmouth recruitment firm Carrington West expands and has 20 jobs up for grabs

TWENTY jobs are up for grabs as a recruitment consultancy in Portsmouth expands.

Carrington West, which is based at Lakeside, North Harbour, is looking to hire 20 new recruitment consultants to join its six specialist teams, with 10 vacancies immediately open.

The company is celebrating 10 years since it launched in 2011 and has seen impressive year-on-year growth to reach its 60-strong staff and £34m turnover.

Managing director James Fernandes said: ‘Our employees’ appetite for knowledge and self-improvement especially during the first lockdown was inspiring and as a result we are in the position to be able to increase our foothold in our key vertical sectors and broaden our offer. To do this we need more people and resources.’

Co-founder Simon Gardiner said: ‘Hiring so many new recruiters in a short period of time is a conscious decision we have made to push ahead with our plans. There is a clear market demand for the services we offer and now is the right time for us to bring new talent in.’
