Publicans enjoy chippy venture

Koren and Gareth Blake have done just that by opening a chip shop in Lee-on-the-Solent.

Fin And Bone, in Twyford Drive, only opened its doors less than two weeks ago but has already attracted plenty of customers.

The couple have successfully run The Brickmakers pub in Swanmore for the past five years.

However, with their lease possibly coming to an end, they decided that they needed a new project.

Koren said: ‘Gareth worked in a chippy when he was growing up so it was the natural move really to open a chippy instead of another pub.’
