Racecourse back in action
A HUGELY-POPULAR racecourse is set to gallop back into action next Saturday with events marking the opening day of its new flat-racing season.
Two listed contests, the Daisy Warwick Stakes and The Conqueror Stakes, are both on the schedule as Goodwood Racecourse prepares to welcome punters and sport lovers.
The venue has undergone significant investment since the winter months, including upgrades to its March Grandstand – comprising a new betting facility and two new cafes.
New eatery Delicious Dogs will also offer visitors a host of handmade pizzas.
Tickets are £12 in advance from goodwood.com, with under-18s getting in free.
