A TEAM of eight girls from Portsmouth High School were delighted to finish first in a competition to promote careers in technology.

The DigiGirlz event was held at Microsoft’s headquarters in Reading last week.

The inspirational event focussed on how to engage with girls in order to capture their interest and educate them about careers in technology. They were asked to develop a pair of gloves and came first.
