Small traders celebrated

The annual Small Business Saturday event will be making its return to the Portsmouth area on December 2.

Designed to showcase the best of independent trade, the event aims to promote small stores in a bid to boost local economies.

And as part of this year’s celebration, free parking will be offered across areas of Portsmouth.

Sites included are: Wootton Street car park, Cosham, London Road car park, Cosham, Stubbington Avenue car park, North End, Ashby Place car park, Southsea and Clarence Street car park in the city centre.

Portsmouth City Council is promoting special offers by businesses ahead of the day.
