The 24-year-old said: ‘I loved the mix of writing about everything from high fashion to home, and for such an iconic brand. I loved the mix of writing about everything from high fashion to home, and for such an iconic brand.’

She then went on to manage the social media and marketing aspect of a sister jewellery business, which is based in Petersfield, before taking the leap into self-employed life.

She said: ‘After a year, I decided I was at a point in my life where I could take the risk, so I left to pursue my own business. Having a range of experience in different industries from fashion and bridal to homeware and food, I felt I had a lot to offer small businesses who didn’t have time to manage their social media platforms, or perhaps didn’t have the skills or knowledge that I have acquired over the years.’

The business offers services from full social media management and one-to-one training sessions, to Instagram audits and copywriting and specialises in fashion and lifestyle.

Nysie creates bespoke plans for each business based on their needs to improve their social media presence to help them boost their business.

She said: ‘A lot of people underestimate the power of social media, but it’s absolutely essential for a small business to have an online presence in order to drive sales and increase brand awareness.

‘I invest a lot of time getting to know the individual or business, determining business and social media goals, learning about their audience and getting to know competitors. This allows me to implement the best strategies to maximise results and stay ahead of the social game.’

She is currently still trading, but is working on an online-only basis, using tools such as Zoom to create a discounted package due to the current social distancing guidelines.
