To entice punters, the bar runs a unique ‘try before you buy’ offer on all of its wine and beer options.

The team behind the business have more than 22 years of experience working in the industry, meaning the staff have a wealth of knowledge to share with their customer.

Offering a ‘bespoke service’, the venue is available for group nights out, birthday celebrations, wine tasting events or simply a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy your favourite tipple.

The owner, Sam, set up the business in memory of his late mother.

He said he was inspired by everything she taught him about wine and its process.

In a statement, Sam says: ‘I have special memories of my childhood and my dearest mother who sadly passed in 2012.

‘My mother told me lots of stories about the vineyards that she grew up in with my grandparents.

‘These stories detailed how my mother was surrounded by grapes and beauty in the vineyard. I feel privileged and lucky to have heard these captivating stories.

‘My mother taught me everything I know about wine and, as I matured, I became fascinated with the concept of wine and champagne, as well as the history surrounding them.’

On his company website, Sam says he enjoyed learning about the history of wine from his mother and hearing about her ‘wonderful experiences’.

The business owner also said that, despite it being an exciting concept, the idea of opening up his own company still seemed rather ‘daunting’.

He added: ‘When my beloved mother passed away, I decided to take the daunting but incredibly exciting opportunity to open a wine tasting bar that contained fine wine, champagne, and spirits.

‘My aim was to honour my late mother, and to open an establishment that was different to a traditional bar or restaurant,

‘I decided to do something that focused on wine and gin tasting.

‘Also, I wanted to be able to give my customers the opportunity to try the wine before they purchased the bottle, so I created a ‘try before you buy’ system.’
