Store recalls beans over metal fears

MORRISONS has recalled some batches of trimmed beans as they may contain pieces of metal.

The supermarket, which has store in Portsmouth and Horndean, says only certain batches of its ‘Trimmed Beans’ are affected.

The 170g packs have ‘Display until’ dates of April 22, 2017, April 23, 2017 and April 24, 2017, so it is possible that shoppers could still have unused packs stored at home.

Morrisons said: ‘If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.’
