Tablet platforms win a royal award for Fareham company

A MANUFACTURER of specialist computing equipment in Fareham has won its second Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Captec, in Segensworth, was given the royal award in the Innovation category for its tablet platforms. 

Founder Max Toti said: ‘Our second Queen’s Award recognises the broad spectrum of contributors from all our staff involved in this new product line, our supply chain partners who helped us realise the product, and our valued customers.

‘To date, our greatest success with this product line has been in bingo gaming tablets, for which we are truly grateful to our early adopter customers who helped us through the teething journey. This award is a very proud achievement.’ 

Captec previously won a Queen’s Award for international trade.
