This is your last chance to see Gunwharf Quays' spectacular free light show

GUNWHARF Quays has been holding a series of spectacular free light shows over the last week.

But Saturday is your last chance to see the display at the Portsmouth shopping centre.

The light shows have the theme of ‘Journey into winter’ and it will culminate in 60 lights projected high into the night sky that will be visible for up to five miles from the city.

You can watch a sneak peak of the light show in the video player at the top of this article to get a sense of what you can expect over the coming eight days.

According to the staff at the shopping centre, visitors can also expect a few festive surprises along the way.

The light shows began on November 15 and run daily until November 23.

There will be displays at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm from Sunday to Thursday, and at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

Each show will last approximately eight minutes.
