Translators' efforts rewarded

TRANSLATORS in Whiteley have scooped honours at an awards event.

Junie Kristine Haller and Jonas Fust both won titles at the Institute of Translation and Interpreting’s international conference.

The pair both work for Whiteley-based Sandberg Translation Partners Ltd (STP).

Junie was named winner in the Best Newcomer – Corporate Member class, in recognition of her hard work and drive.

Anu Carnegie-Brown, managing director of STP, said she had developed from a graduate to a ‘skilled, helpful and fast translator’

‘Normally such a progression takes about two years, but she is already a highly-valued member of our in-house Danish translator team,’ she aid.

Jonas, who is an account linguist at STP, also achieved a special commendation in the same class.
