After 10 months a previous brownfield site has been transformed into a new retail hub.
The project has been undertaken by developers Hargreaves. Tim Wilmer, Investment Director at Hargreaves said: “We are delighted to welcome KFC to our property portfolio and to continue our successful relationship with Costa Coffee and Aldi.
“The opening of Phase 2 will bring a range of national operators to the site, delivering investment, employment opportunities and providing additional convenience and food-and-drink options for residents. As attention turns to the remaining development opportunities at Waterloo Park, we look forward to sharing further exciting progress in due course.”
With the car park complete, there are now 169 spaces available with the three separate buildings.
The Aldi store is scheduled to open on November 26.
