All who attended the Sunset Festival on Gosport's Walpole Park will be really happy that they did.
The festival started on Friday 30 August with a celebratory atmosphere provided by the night's headliner of LeFreak, who really got the party started.

Hide AdSupported by local bands and even a burlesque cabaret, food traders fresh from the Big Eat local food awards were there supplying food to suit all tastes. The beer tent, cocktail bars and coffee stalls were selling quality drinks, my own favorite a Double Kraken.
There was even a tshirt stall selling a special designed Sunset Festival Tshirt. The party atmosphere flowed into Saturday, where crowds were entertained by local bands Amba Tremain, Sidetracked, BritPop Revolution and headlined by Fleetwood Collective.
Other stages had some great local acoustic sets, and a special shout out to the Rock School. For those needing to chill, there was a wellbeing area, with massages, meditation and yoga amongst the offerings.
On Sunday it got even louder with the main stage hosting amongst others Typhoon 99, SuperSonics and Thunderstruck (Ac/DC ) closed the night. Many other brilliant acts performed on the two stages. And all entertained.
There was a fun, safe, happy atmosphere throughout and those attending this free event organised by John Seymour from Portsmouth were provided with a week end of pure joy.
