Now after months apart from their pals and teachers, Portsmouth-area children are today returning to school to start the next chapter of their education.
Parents from across the Solent area sent us smiley photos of their little ones to mark the occasion – is anyone you know included in our gallery?
We need your support to continue producing informative and entertaining news content for and from the people of Portsmouth.
That’s why we're offering total access to our website, portsmouth.co.uk, for just £2 a month for the first two months here.
