School pupils really got into the spirit last night at Fareham Academy and helped man stalls, while youngsters from St Jude’s Primary School sang carols and catering students from Fareham College also pitched in with delicious cakes.

There were more than 40 stalls selling all kinds of wares, including many from local arts and crafts businesses.

Adele Deasy, headteacher, said: ‘It has been absolutely amazing for our whole community to come together. We have got students from the college, our school and the primary school showcasing the whole transition of education. It is really lovely to see so many people getting involved.’
