The Year 10 pupil was confirmed yesterday (October 8) as having tested positive and had already been at home for two days. Following discussions with Public Health England, 35 Year 10 students have also been identified as needing to self-isolate.

A statement from headteacher, Chris Anders said: ‘The parents of all these children in Year 10 have been contacted and are now isolating for 14 days. Those in receipt of Free School Meals will be given vouchers to cover the meals for the two weeks of school they will miss.
