Thousands of Year 6 students are getting ready to bid farewell to primary school before moving up in September.

To celebrate students moving up to secondary school from September, The News has put together a lovely gallery of pictures of students in Year 6 before they leave primary school.

The adorable pictures consist of 43 primary schools across Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport, Waterlooville and Emsworth.
