Vaccines: Exact number of over 70s who have had Covid-19 jab in Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant, Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Eastleigh, Fareham, Rushmoor, Test Valley, Hart, East Hampshire, New Forest and the Isle of Wight

The latest figures reveal exactly how many over 70s have had their first coronavirus jab in each area of Hampshire.

Previously only the data for the county as a whole had been announced by the government.

However now the figures have been released for every Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

It shows that there was over 90 per cent take up of the vaccines among over 70s in the county.

The figures are based on provisional data from NHS England for vaccinations up to February 14.

It comes after the mass vaccination centre opened at St James' Hospital in Portsmouth at the start of the month.
