Omicron in Hampshire: New figures reveal which are hotspots among Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant, Fareham, Winchester, East Hampshire, Southampton, Eastleigh, Hart, Rushmoor, New Forest, Basingstoke, Test Valley and the Isle of Wight
The number of Omicron cases detected in each part of Hampshire has been shown in new figures.

The statistics break down the number of detected and suspected cases in each local authority area.
Petersfield High Street. The East Hampshire District Council area has seen 24 confirmed cases of Omicron, and 28 suspected case. The total of 52 means it is 241st on the national list Photo: staff
The Fareham borough has seen 43 confirmed cases of Omicron, and 22 suspected cases, making 65. It means it ranks as 214th in the country Photo: Kimberley Barber
Fleet. The Hart District Council area of Hampshire has seen 32 confirmed Omicron case and 34 suspected cases. The total of 66 puts it 213rd in the national list Photo: Google
Portsmouth has seen 79 confirmed Omicron cases and 20 suspected cases - a total of 99. This puts it 160th in the national ranking
