Gosport GP practice becomes dementia friendly
A GP practice has become dementia-friendly to improve its services for patients with the condition.
Rowner Surgery, in Rowner Lane, Gosport, has achieved official accreditation for the scheme which supports people with dementia.
Dr Goher Altaf said: ‘Our aim is to improve support to provide first-class care for patients with dementia as well as their carers. We signed up to the Dementia Action Alliance at the start of this process and are delighted to have become dementia-friendly.’
