The latest inspection found the home had made ‘timely referrals’ and took ‘prompt actions’ when working with the local authority safeguarding team, and a social care professional from Portsmouth City Council said the operations manager at the home had ‘turned things around and created a positive culture’.

Staff morale had been been affected by the previous report, the home’s manager told inspectors, with the team striving to provide ‘a reliable, dependable, and positive presence’.

But the home has been found to require improvement in categories measuring its effectiveness, safety policies, and leadership, and has been rated ‘good’ in categories measuring staff’s care and responsiveness.
