Macmillan roadshow will give free advice

PEOPLE affected by breast cancer can get support and advice from a mobile roadshow.

Macmillan Cancer Support’s mobile service is stopping off in Havant and Hayling Island.

Specialist Michelle Smith said: ‘It’s really important people living with cancer are able to access the financial advice and support they are entitled to so they can focus on what’s most important – their health.

‘We can signpost people to Macmillan benefits advisers.

‘On the mobile unit we can answer any question or concern related to cancer – whether you just want to find out more about what symptoms you need to look out for, or if you are undergoing treatment and want to find out how to manage your side effects, or maybe you are caring for someone with cancer.’

The roadshow will stop off in Havant near St Faith’s Church in West Street on September 2 from 10am to 4pm, and will be behind the Beachlands office at Sea Front, Hayling Island, from 9am to 2pm on September 3.
