Pompey stubbs out bad health following council partnership
PORTSMOUTH City Council is launching a new initiative with Pompey in the Community to promote a healthier lifestyle to football fans.
The council’s wellbeing service will be at Fratton Park before Pompey’s match against Barnet FC on Saturday to sign people up for the Stoptober pledge to quit smoking during October.
Plans for activities surrounding alcohol awareness, stress management and healthy eating are also in the pipeline for 2017.
