The event's Zombie Experience, which was run by GoGeek Events, raised a total of £1,156.86 for the Children's Bubble Fund at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

The fund supports the purchase of essential equipment needed to give children and families a more comfortable experience, such as a blood gas analyser - which diagnoses and manages treatment for sick children.

Lisa Fowler from Port Solent said: '˜With the popularity of the zombie culture constantly on the rise, we were thrilled to be able to offer our guests this thrilling experience at Comic Con.'
