QA Hospital holding AGM next week

Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham, is holding the event next week.

During the meeting, chief executive Mark Cubbon will summarise their annual report detailing what has happened over the past 12 months.

The AGM will also discuss the importance of organ donation as part of Organ Donation Week. 

R'‹ichard Clinton, a consultant critical care and member of the Organ Donation Committee, will talk about donating before Paul Gibbs, clinical director for transplant, will talk about altruistic kidney donation.  

After the talks, members of the public will be able to ask questions.

The AGM is being held on Thursday, September 6 at 2pm in the Lecture Theatre of the Education Centre on Level E.

The Trust Board meeting is on the same day at 9.30am.
