QA Hospital research team wants patient ambassadors

A HOSPITAL research team is looking for people to become ambassadors for patient research.

The team at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham want people who can help raise the profile of research and support events.

Dr Greta Westwood, deputy director of research and innovation, said: ‘It has always been our aim to develop a patient-centred research culture in the hospital.

‘People who have taken part in research, or who have witnessed someone participate in research, are often best placed to be ambassadors.’

Two informal sessions are being held at QA for anyone interested in finding out more.

They are on October 11 from 11.30am to 1pm and 6.30pm until 8pm.
