Ginny Taylor, head of children and family services, said: '˜ChatHealth 11-16 for secondary school age children has been run by Southern Health's school nursing service for two years and has had huge success.

'˜Launching ChatHealth 0-5 builds on this and is an exciting opportunity to make health information more easily accessible for parents and carers. It will help them get responsive advice and support via their phones.'

The service is run by health visitors and is available Monday to Thursday from 9am to 4.30pm and Fridays 9am to 4pm.
