WATCH: Brave Waterlooville boy Sam Merrick wins WellChild inspiration award
Last night brave Sam Merrick was presented with an WellChild award celebrating his determination in overcoming medical difficulties and helping other ill children.
The eight-year-old Denmead Junior School suffers from major immune, lung and bowel problems, but helps other families going through similar problems with his charity Sam’s Haven.
The lucky youngster even got to meet Prince Harry, a WellChild patron, at the ceremony and spoke to him about the award.
