Head chef Gary Cook has cooked up the delightful meals - prompting the name ‘Gary’s Galley’ to be born.

Commodore Neil Maxwell said: ‘Many of our members are over 70 years of age and are self-isolating. Normally they would come here on a daily basis for meals but with the lockdown that is not possible so the club decided to rally round and deliver food to them.

‘There are also members of the public who do not have any relatives who can deliver food to them so we are offering meals to them too.

‘It has been very well received so far with the feedback amazing. The food that is cooked here is professional standard so people are getting high quality meals with a wide range of choice.
