We are unlikely to see any snowfall in Portsmouth this Christmas, but in 2010 wintry showers brought the city to a standstill.
For days on end businesses had to close as families headed outside to enjoy the snow.
To mark nearly 10 years since the great blizzard we’ve had a look back through the archive to find some of the photos which showed the impact the snow had – and the fun it created!
