I’m often asked which is my favourite of the hundreds of ‘then and now’ pictures I’ve taken.

Without doubt it’s the one of Commercial Road, Portsmouth, in 1962 followed by my shot of the same location in 2016. The two bear no comparison. The Savoy cinema (later the ABC) was on the left.
