August in Portsmouth just doesn’t feel the same without Navy Days.

Look at the crowds queueing to get on board HMS Victory in the picture below. There must be thousands of them.

Of course, Victory was Nelson’s flagship at Trafalgar but we should never forget that her commander was Captain Thomas Masterman Hardy.
