GCSE Results Day 2020: 43 photos capturing joy as students collect grades in Portsmouth area

AFTER months of waiting and a severely disrupted final year, students across the Portsmouth area have collected their GCSE results.

Up and down the city and in the surrounding towns, pupils went to pick up their grades this morning.

The results were based on teacher predictions, following a U-turn by the government in the aftermath of anger at the way A-Level results were handled.
