'Haldi is a restaurant that doesn’t pander to the preferences of the majority but tries to offer something memorable – to that end it is a success.' The Dish Detective was a bit miffed that a side order of sour cream and guacamole did not arrive with the delivered burritos, but said: 'The loaded fries were the
star of the show, topped with cheddar cheese, jalapeños and our desired toppings, the chips are seasoned to perfection and utterly mouth watering.' 'Having eaten a fair few pad Thais in my time, if I’m completely honest, I have had better. However, it is still very tasty and considering the freshness of the ingredients it is surprisingly good value – my companion feels the same' 'DD opts for the Tot Dog, a pork frank loaded with ‘Tater Tots’, American cheese, sweet chilli sauce, mayo and sesame seeds. Rustic fries accompany it, which we share. The hotdog arrives quickly, as does my companion’s Speedy Gonzales beef hotdog which comes with crushed tortillas chips, Jalapenos and mild tomato sauce.'
